Hi, this is Oakdale, MN Chiropractor Dr. Ben Smetana.  I just came across this article in the Doctor’s Resource Center on our website.  The article looks at the protective benefits of dietary flavonoids against air pollution; I thought it was fitting given the recent air quality warnings in the twin cities.

A new study from researchers at Harvard and the University of Minnesota has found that dietary flavonoids, such as those found in wine, chocolate, fruits, and vegetables, may protect the heart against the damaging effects of air pollution.
