Hi, this is Oakdale, MN Chiropractor Dr. Ben Smetana.  I found this great article on the Doctor’s Resource Center section of our website.  The article talks about a probiotic that is not found in most probiotic supplements that helps people suffering from IBS.

In a new study, the probiotic Saccharomyces boulardii improved quality of life for people with IBS.  Unlike the most commonly used probiotics, Lactobacillus and Bifidobacter species, S. boulardii is a yeast, not a bacterium.
