Chiropractor Oakdale MN | Sugars Aren’t So Sweet for Your Heart

Hi this is Oakdale MN chiropractor Dr. Ben Smetana and I found this great article in our Doctor’s Resource Center on our website. We all know that sugar is no good for our waistline; new research shows that it is also not good for our hearts.

Eating too much of certain types of sugar could be bad for your heart. But how much and what types of sugar are okay? Public health organizations differ in their positions on the topic, so a study in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism aimed to shed some light on the subject.

Hi this is Oakdale MN chiropractor Dr. Ben Smetana and I found this great article in our Doctor’s Resource Center on our website.  The article talks about how the addition of the healthy fats found in fish have resulted in improvements in the reading ability and behavior of the children consuming them.

More and more, science supports fish oil’s reputation as brain food. The latest evidence comes from a study that found both reading and behavior improved in primary school-aged children who were reading below their grade level after supplementing with the omega-3 fatty acid DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
