Hi this is Oakdale MN chiropractor Dr. Ben Smetana and I found this great article in our Doctor’s Resource Center on our website.  The article talks about the importance of Vitamin K for bone health, which is largely deficient due our lack of consumption of grass fed meat and dairy.

Vitamin K1, known as phylloquinone, is made by most plants and is found in high amounts in green leafy vegetables. Vitamin K2, a form of vitamin K found in meat, cheese, and some other foods, is actually a group of fat-soluble vitamins known as menaquinones.
