Hi this is Oakdale MN chiropractor Dr. Ben Smetana and I found this great article in our Doctor’s Resource Center on our website. The article talks about how chronic inflammation is related to anxiety and how adding the proper fats to your diet can reduce anxiety symptoms.
Omega-3 fats from fish are decidedly good for your heart and brain, and more research supports that they are also good for your mood, such as a study that found inflammatory activity and symptoms of anxiety were reduced in medical students taking omega-3 fatty acid supplements.

If you needed another reason to enjoy chocolate, research finds that cocoa products may complement other blood pressure–lowering strategies. A study in Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews suggests that eating flavanol-rich cocoa may help lower blood pressure.

Hi this is Oakdale, MN Chiropractor, Dr. Ben Smetana. I found this article, which was supposed to be the lead article in my last e-newsletter, on the Doctor’s Resource Center portion of our website. The article talks about the benefits of fermented/cultured foods on cholesterol levels.
Statins, a class of medications used to treat high cholesterol and triglyceride levels, are among the most commonly prescribed drugs in the world. Statin chemicals are naturally produced through fermentation with specific fungi.
