Hi this is Oakdale MN chiropractor Dr. Ben Smetana and I found this great article in our Doctor’s Resource Center on our website. The article talks about the best foods to fight inflammation.
Inflammation is one cause of hardening of the arteries—a form of heart disease known as atherosclerosis. Because more inflammation leads to more atherosclerosis, health experts recommend common sense measures, such as regular physical activity, avoiding tobacco, and enjoying a healthy, whole-foods diet, which all decrease inflammation.

Hi this is Oakdale MN chiropractor Dr. Ben Smetana and I found this great article in our Doctor’s Resource Center on our website. The article talks about how chronic inflammation is related to anxiety and how adding the proper fats to your diet can reduce anxiety symptoms.
Omega-3 fats from fish are decidedly good for your heart and brain, and more research supports that they are also good for your mood, such as a study that found inflammatory activity and symptoms of anxiety were reduced in medical students taking omega-3 fatty acid supplements.

Hi this is Oakdale MN chiropractor Dr. Ben Smetana and I found this great article in our Doctor’s Resource Center on our website. The article gives tips on how to make the transition to gluten free.
Understanding the finer points of gluten—a protein found in grains such as wheat, rye, barley, kamut, and triticale—is an important part of everyday living for people managing gluten-related diseases, such as celiac disease, psoriasis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
Be sure to register for our upcoming seminar (11/14/12) “Gluten and the Franken-Grains, the Truth Behind the Sensitivity” here.
